The client wanted to rank better against her competition on Google. Her website was on GoDaddy’s Website Tonight platform. Even with the “SEO Package”, platforms of this kind are extremely restricting for marketing, and the site could not be optimized for search for several reasons. Visually, some things on the site were not displaying properly, and the design overall did not represent the professionalism and sophistication of the company. We recommended a new website created with key SEO programming included. All this needed to be accomplished on a limited budget.

Goals

Stef, matchmaker and owner of Stef and the City, had a goal to come up on Google for searches for matchmakers in Chicago, and beat out the competition as much as possible.

Approach

  • Customize a WordPress theme to create a next-level website with a modern design that spoke to the client’s audience, and represented the company’s caliber. The architecture of the website was created to best serve the goal of increasing Search Engine rankings.
  • Provide messaging and content guidance, to better engage visitors, and incorporate language that would enable search engine goals.
  • Create foundational Search Engine Optimization code elements for website pages.
